From 20 to 22 September,2005,the will be plenary lectures in the morning, with a special focus on solvent extraction in hydrometallurgy, interfacial phenomena, biotechnology, process intensification and petrochemical industry. These topics will provide exciting challenges and opportunities to chemical and process engineers as well as researchers all over the world in the 21st century.

All session topics will have keynote speakers. They will provide state of the art summaries of recent advances in area such as fundamentals, sustainable development, novel processes and hybrid processes of solvent extraction.

The highlight of the conference dinner, on Thursday evening, will be the presentation of awards
made by the sponsoring organization and institutions The conference will be closed on Friday
(23 th) noon time.
